Saturday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
Sunday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
(2 consecutive weekends)
Week Days:
Monday -Thursday: 7:30am - 6:30pm

*The average salary for a security guard is $13.06 per hour in Florida.

*Full Payment is required in order to register for unarmed Security Guard class.

*If after the first day of class, you feel the class is not for you, S2W Training will offer a full refund.

*In order to qualify for a unarmed security guard license you must have no disqualifying criminal history.

The “D” license is a security officer license for unarmed officers. The “G” license is the statewide firearms license, and allows the license holding to carry firearms while on duty.

The State of Florida no longer allows online training for security licenses. All classes must be taken in person.

Your license is valid for 2 years and must be renewed within 3 months after it expires. If it has been expired for more than 3 months, you may need to retake the training. If possible, always renew your license at least 3 months prior to expiration.

There will be a 170-question multiple choice test and you will need to finish with a minimum of 75% to pass the class. (up to 2 hours maximum time allowed)

After passing the course you will need to apply for a temporary “D” License which will validate you for security guard work until your official license arrives in the mail within about 30 to 90 days.
